I’m terrible at painting my own nails, which will often result in nail polish on my skin and cuticles. Especially when I was doing nail swatches here and here, I realized how messy I was.
So here’s a quick tip on how to remove nail polish from your skin.
What You’ll Need:
– Nail Polish Remover – Zoya Remove Plus Nail Polish Remover – My friend gave me a sample in a container and I’ve been loving it so far.
– Angled Brush – Royal & Langnickel Silk Sharp Line (BC498) – Use a synthetic brush, so the nail polish remover doesn’t ruin the bristles. You also want to use an angled brush as it allows more control.
– Tissue – To remove the polish from your brush.
Steps:
- Dip the angled brush into the remove. Remove any excess remover by brushing the bristles against the side of the bottle.
- Using the brush, lightly brush the remover onto the skin until the polish is removed.
- Dip the brush back into the remover and dab it onto the tissue until the bristles are clean.
Alternative Tip:
For those that think this Tip is time consuming, here’s an easier one:
When I do paint my nails, I usually plan to do it during the night. That way in the morning when I wash the hair, the combination of the shampoo rubbing motion on my head and heat from the water causes the nail polish to slide right off my skin.
