A few weeks ago, I was invited to attend the launch of Montagne Jeunesse’s new skin care line…CLAY SPA MASQUES!
Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spa are specially sourced clays that are infused into natural bamboo fabric, making deep cleansing quicker and easier. They are paraben free, dermatologically tested, and BUAV, PETA, and Vegetarian Society Approved. Because each package is meant for one use, all the ingredients are 99% natural with a natural preservative system.
DIRECTIONS:
To apply, ensure skin is dry and clean then place the masque over the contours of the face. Leave for 10-15 minutes for superior cleansing action. The new clay infused fabric system also means less mess as the clay is gently lifted away from the skin. Skin will be left feeling soft, smooth and cleansed.

$2.49CAD / $2.49US

REVIEWER NOTES:
As you continue reading this post, photos of the mask on and off were taken to show: (1) what the mask looks like, (2) how it conforms onto the face, and (3) the residue that will be left on your face after removing the mask. The residue washes off easily with warm water.

OVERALL REVIEW:
It amazes me when a PR Firm takes the time and effort to read your blog and understand the needs of each blogger. Farleyco is definitely that. Before I left the event, the PR Rep suggested that I read over the ingredients list before using the product. She recalled my severe allergic reaction from reading my Life with Acne post. So she didn’t want me to experience one again. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but to me, this was truly a really personable touch.
With regards to the ingredients, I love how the list on the packaging explains what each ingredient is in layman’s terms. Half the time when reading boxes, it feels like I’m in science class reading a molecular compound or a latin word. So it’s refreshing to know what’s going on my face.
The concept of the mask is absolutely brilliant! I’ve seen sheet masks and mud masks but never the two combined. You get the best of both worlds, the cleansing properties of mud masks without the worry of finishing a jar of it before it dries up. Also, it’s great for travel since it’s in a single packet use.
I experienced absolutely no allergic reactions or skin sensitivities with any of the masks. In fact, all three masks left my face super soft, as if I just exfoliated my face. Usually my face is only soft in the morning after I apply all my lotions and potions at night, so this was a new experience for me. The mask that actually left my face feeling the softest was Red Earth Clay Spa.
When putting on these masks, Dead Sea Mud Spa and Glacial Clay Spa had perfume scents with the former having the strongest scent of the two.
When reading the claims for all three masks, they pretty much do the same thing: exfoliate, draw impurities, cleanse pores, and restore moisture and firmness back into the skin. But the one mask that I would purchase again because I didn’t notice any scents and it left my face feeling the softest, would be the Red Earth Clay Spa.
