After my ~~love note to Shirley~~…I mean heart felt post to Shirley and Thao, everyone should be well acquainted to them. Plus, it’s hard to forget the tear jerker Single Day Edit that Norris Films did.

Today, I bring you the amazing photos captured by Chris from Chris & Age Photography. Throughout the wedding, I would see him zipping around and not taking a break. Chris is truly dedicated to his work and wants to capture every special moment for his couple.

Shirley decided on her wedding day to emulate the makeup of J. Lo at the 2013 Golden Globes. She wanted the soft, yet slightly winged out grey smokey eyes, peach blush, and the signature “J. Lo glow”. We adapted the look for her and changed up the lip colour to more of a nude pink rather than the nude peach that J. Lo had.

This bride is the master of false lashes. Each time I see her, she has perfect lashes. Her wedding day was no different. She wanted to apply her own lashes and did so in the matter of minutes. I was in awe when watching her because it takes me ages to pop those puppies on myself and I had incidents in the past where I got glue in my contacts.

With all the crying that happened during the day, Shirley was impressed of how long the makeup lasted. From the time the makeup started to the time the wedding ended, it was about a 20-hour day. I didn’t even need to powder Shirley when I arrived to the reception. All I did was apply a fresh coat of lipstick!
