Oh Rebecca Restrepo…how I adore thee and thy talent! If you don’t know who Rebecca Restrepo is, here’s the 411. She’s Elizabeth Arden‘s Global Makeup Artist and has dolled up A-list celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Brook Shields, Amy Adams, Michelle Obama, and my personal favourite, Leona Lewis!
Last year, I recreated Rebecca’s Fall Glam look on YouTube. You can view the video here. That look was all about purple and plums and is such a great smokey eye look, especially those with monolids.
This year, Rebecca created a Holiday Glam look “inspired by fun and festive holiday season. Touches of modern lilac are mixed with classic shimmery neutrals.”
I’m always up for recreating looks, especially from makeup artists that are such a huge inspiration. So without further ado, here is the tutorial featuring Elizabeth Arden’s Beautiful Colour Collection:
(Note: I was missing one of the shadows from the look, so I improvised slightly given the available products.)

Of course, I had to take a selfie with my iPhone 5S and compare it with the Face Chart! As mentioned above, since I didn’t have Golden Ivy, I focused on using Shimmering Emerald on the outer corner of the lid and crease.
Rebecca Restrepo is a genius in finding a way to combine red and green into this holiday look!
I think what surprised me most about these products with the Beautiful Colour Moisturizing Lipstick in Red Door Red. My lips have been extremely chapped with going from the cold outdoors to the dry and heated indoors. But this matte lipstick didn’t highlight any of my dry skin and was extremely moisturizing without slipping off the lips!
