The makeup community in Toronto is absolutely awesome! I’m truly fortunate to be involved with a community where we are always supportive of each other and try to help each other grow.

That pretty much describes my relationship with Tess.  From time-to-time, we will ask each other to assist on jobs, refer jobs, and even enable each other to buy products.  You might remember Tess from Ashley + Ian’s Wedding where she assisted me.  This time the tables were turned and I assisted her for Ashley + Perr’s Wedding!

During the entire morning, the vibe was very chill and serene.  I got to do makeup for two bridesmaids and Ashley’s mother.  The bridesmaids were hilarious…they thought smokey eyes meant panda eyes.  Boy, did I show them how smokey eyes can help enhance a look!

Enough of the chit chat, here are some before and after photos that I took of the bridesmaids:

I was blown away when I saw the Same Day Edit from Goody Cambay Wedding Films.  What was different from traditional SDE videos was that there were aerial shots, crazy earrings and necklace action (at the end), and just awesome focusing in-and-out techniques.  Clearly I don’t know all the technical terms…but just watch the video and you’ll see what I mean.
