WEDDING | Ni + Chris by Focus Production | Fiona Man

Nothing is better than coming back from vacation and receiving a whole slew of images and a video from a wedding you worked on last year.

I’m not sure if I’ve just been lucky thus far in my career, but I always seem to get to work with such sweet and chill brides. Ni was one of them.

When I first met Ni for her bridal trial, she was most concerned with her skin. She had eczema and was worried that the makeup would cause her eczema to flair up and that you would see her skin flaking through the makeup. I told Ni that airbrushing would be the best way to go. Since the formulation of the foundation is water-based, it is very gentle and won’t irritate the skin. Also, by airbrushing the skin versus traditional hand painting techniques, it minimizes the amount of contact the skin has with the brush. So it won’t create new skin flakes or irritate the existing ones. She was impressed with the results and the natural glow it gave her.

I contacted Fiona by email, she always responded right away and within a few hours. She and her assistant did the make up for a total of 7 people within 3 hours. I have eczema and the make up Fiona uses was great, it did not irritate my skin and it held up even after I cried during my vows. I booked Fiona to come early in the morning (5:45 AM) and for a makeup change/touch up in the afternoon (4 PM) of our wedding day. She was on time to both locations and was able to handle last minute changes to the schedule/timeline. Our guests thought my makeup was beautiful and natural looking and I received many compliments about my make up.
