Each time I sit down to write a blog post, I immediately feel like a broken record. Why? Because I want to start off the post by saying I have the most awesomest and genuine brides as clients.
Karain is such a sweet heart and I absolutely adore her relationship with Derrick. They are such good hearted people that you can’t help but (for lack of a better term) fall in love with them.
You may remember Karain + Derrick from their engagement shoot with Sandy Tam Photography. It was then that we did Karain’s trial. On her wedding day, she wanted to go a bit more glam. So we went with a smokier eye and more voluminous lashes.
Side Note: Be on the lookout for another blog post on Karain + Derrick because their wedding photos from Sandy Tam are wickedly awesome!
(Insert another moment where I sound like a broken record) One of the many things I love about being in the wedding industry is getting to meet new vendors and seeing their work. It was so great to meet the masterminds behind Henjo Films (Henry + Joanie)! They were super chill throughout the entire morning.
Interesting story…after I was done with makeup and getting ready to leave, Karain + Derrick were starting the Chinese traditions. I actually tapped Henry a few times so I could get to the door. Let me tell you…when Henry is in working mode, he doesn’t move an inch. He is like one of the Queen’s Guards. He now knows me as the annoying person who was interrupting his work :p
Check out this amazing video that Henry + Joanie did. I literally cried and laughed within the first minute and loved how the film showcased Karain + Derrick’s whimsical personalities! Enjoy!
