Happy Hump Day! As you can see, there was a major facelift to my site and it was all thanks to Timothy Li! It took over a year to complete but I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. The site is reflective of my style and I am absolutely in love with it.
To kick-off the launch of the new site, I thought I would blog about an engagement shoot done by 2014 Canadian Wedding Industry Awards Recipient for Best Photographer in Ontario & Canadian Photographer of the Year, Lisa Mark Photography.
Katherine takes the cake for the most pro-active bride. She booked me a 1.5 years in advance with no trial. We met up at Timmies and she wanted to sign the contract and give me the deposit right away. Now that’s major trust!
We met up again in the fall for her trial and she was just as cute as ever. Time flew by as I was doing her makeup and chatting away. When she told me what a wonderful experience she had at Kleinfeld’s and showed me a video of her twirling in her dress, I knew that I had to book an appointment there when I got engaged (by the way, I got engaged!).
Katherine wanted to really smoke up her look and go for some long voluminous lashes. Since she doesn’t usually wear foundation, we opted for airbrushing to keep things light and luminous.
Not only was it gratifying to hear that Katherine loved her look we created, but when I met Justin, he also loved it.
To make me even more excited to work with Katherine in a few months, I got this wickedly awesome e-mail shortly after our trial. Can you tell how bubbly her personality is? Getting this e-mail really gave me a sense of accomplishment as an artist 🙂
